The Kubeta Ko Project is a joint effort between local and international stakeholders to initiate the public provision of safe and appropriate sanitation services for the urban poor in Metro-Manila. This sanitation project is in connection with the desire to clean up Manila Bay in accordance with the Mandamus Order of the Supreme Court and the instructions of President Rodrigo Duterte to immediately rehabilitate Manila Bay. The City of Manila (CoM) LGU will be providing 400 toilets to Brangay 275 as part of this project. Currently 38 toilets have been installed already and will run as a pilot for 4-6 weeks until scale up to 400 toilet continues. The Kubeta Ko Launch event is scheduled on 15th of December 2020. The launch event will include key project stakeholders, community members and Government officials, to launch the project. It will include speeches by key officials, such as Isko Moreno and Secretary Cimatu from the DENR. The focal point is the launch of the project and less about the Loowatt technology.
